IS COMING…came. And went. Oops! When you’re powering through your MLIS in three consecutive “ride or die” terms it doesn’t take much to blink and miss 4 months. So instead, here is a visual retrospective of some of what happened in my winter term 🙂
I volunteered at the OLA Super Conference and was lucky enough to hear Wab Kinew deliver a great keynote.
Louis Riel Day (aka Family Day outside of good ol’ Manitoba) came and went.
Our UWO Special Libraries Association organized a Toronto tour visiting the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, the Canadian Lesbian + Gay Archives, and the CBC Library and Archives (more pictures on this in a separate post).
It was my birthday and there was a library cake!
I made time to read (SOMEHOW :S), enjoying some favourite authors and discovering a lot of new graphic novels.
And the graphic novels summed up my existence quite well!
There were many papers and quite a few all-nighters…
and a new obsession with library-themed clothing.
And now, to Chapter 3 – The Final Term.
